{en:Anton Stoltz addresses the question of tuberculosis through the angle of aerobiology and in particular, heads a facility, AIR facility (Airborne Infections Research) at the specialised TB hospital in Emalahleni/Witbank in the province of Mpumalanga, South Africa, one of the region with the highest incidence in TB in the world. The work done by Anton Stoltz investigates several lines of applied and fundamental research such as the best ways to prevent aerosol transmission of TB, to diagnose TB, to evaluate the efficacy of antibiotic treatments to mention only some aspects. During his talk, Anton Stoltz will discuss several of these aspects.
