« Oliver ! » est une comédie musicale britannique très populaire créée par Lionel Bart d'après le roman "Oliver Twist" de Charles Dickens.
Créé à Londres en 1960, joué à Broadway, ce spectacle, traduit en 22 langues, a rendu des chansons célèbres comme « Oom-Pah-Pah ! » ou « Food, Glorious Food » '
L'histoire est celle d'un orphelin qui part tenter sa chance à Londres.
Spectacle en création au TMP, destiné à toute la famille, par New Twist Company.

Oliver Twist, an innocent and near-starving young orphan, flees from the workhouse to the streets of London and is befriended by the Artful Dodger who introduces him to a gang of street urchins and their leader, Fagin (King of the Pickpockets). Suddenly, Oliver finds himself caught up in a world of crime until one day his life is turned around by the kindness of one of his victims Mr Brownlow.
Unfortunately, he is far from safe, as the villains he thought he had left behind soon discover the secret of his birth and decide that he must be silenced at all costs.
